While Rachel has been trained in a variety of modalities, she predominantly works psychodynamically with a focus on the various systems and social forces that impact our personal struggles. Psychodynamic therapy is a form of depth psychology involving the interpretation of mental and emotional processes rather than focusing on behaviors alone. In practice, Rachel seeks to help clients find patterns in their emotions, thoughts, and beliefs in order to gain insight into their current self. Rachel is also trained in EMDR therapy, and integrates this into her practice as appropriate.
